Booking Policies

Consultations will be required for ALL new and some existing clientele prior to any bookings being made.

This is to give yourself and your stylist the opportunity to discuss in depth the services you wish to book and also the expected finished result. Consultations may be charged and you should visit our price lists on our Social media pages to access.

Skin Tests

All new clients booking for colour appointments are required to have a skin test no later than 48 hours prior to their service. Please note that if you have not visited the salon in more than 6 months you will be required to have another Skin test in accordance to law.

If you are choosing to purchase hair extensions through the salon via one of our third party suppliers you will be required to pay a Non refundable/Transferrable deposit of £100. This will be deducted from your final bill at the time of your appointment. As deposits cannot be transferred to alternative products or services, we do advise that you ensure you are ready to commit to your scheduled service prior to paying the fee required.  Once Your deposit is paid you therefore agree to purchase the remaining amount of monies at your next scheduled appointment.

In the circumstance that you cannot attend your pre booked appointment we require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or re arrange. Failure to cancel prior to the notice period will incur a Cancellation/No show fee of 25% of your service charge for the agreed services booked for that day. For example. If your service amount totals to £80, you will be required to pay a £20 cancellation/No show fee prior to any further appointments being made.

If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and you will be charged a cancellation/no show fee. This is because our stylists may have booked further appointments in throughout the day and they no longer have the sufficient time to fulfil the services you have been booked in for. Alternatively other arrangements may be given such as shortening the service which allow, however you may still be charged the full amount.

Clients that are booking in for hair extensions must agree to return to the salon within 6-8 weeks for maintenance or removal appointments. This is to ensure your natural hair is kept in good condition. Failure to attend appointments in this time frame may result in damage to your natural hair and/or extensions and Major Extensions LTD will not be held responsible. Furthermore hair extensions should only be removed by employee’s or Major Extensions LTD that have been fully trained. If you choose to remove your hair extensions elsewhere any damage that occurs will not be Major Extensions LTD responsibility.

We do not allow other guests or children to attend the salon with you for your appointment unless in specific circumstances which you should make the salon aware of prior to your visit.
