Booking Policies

Before booking any appointment at Major extensions please ensure you have read and understood our booking Policies. If you have any queries please do contact the salon directly.

Consultations:

Consultations are required for all New Clients who wish to book for an Extension service or Colour service. This is to give yourself and your stylist an opportunity to discuss your Hair desires in more detail. Consultation Prices are available to view on our Price List.

Please inform your stylist at your consultation if you have any known Allergies or Sensitivities that may affect the ability to perform your Service.

Skin Tests:

All new clients booking for colour appointments are required to have a skin test no later than 48 hours prior to their service. Please note that if you have not visited the salon in more than 6 months you will be required to have another Skin test in accordance to law. You will be refused a Colour service if you have not had a Skin test.

Strand Tests:

Alongside a Skin test, your stylist may need to perform a Strand test, in which a small cutting of your hair will be taken for testing prior to any service being performed. This is in order to ensure the integrity of your hair is not compromised and any issues found within this test can be discussed prior to your booking.

For All Hair extension Clientele:

At the end of your service you will be advised to return to the salon for regular maintenance or a removal appointment within a specific time frame. It is important that you pre book and return within these dates to avoid any potential damage to your natural hair. We recommend returning within a maximum of 8 weeks from your initial application or maintenance. Failure to return within this time frame may result in damage and Major extensions or its Employee’s will not be held accountable.
